Russ is a photographer and has been a denizen of the Ortona for the better part of fifteen years. He finds the building a never ending source of inspiration and has used it as a backdrop in his work many times. His creative works leans toward darker themes but always liking a good laugh he also tries to find humour in his subjects as well. No matter what, he tries to fit storytelling into his imagery as much as possible. He’s also been known to do head shots, portraits, weddings, special events – just about anything really. Many people have told him that perhaps his greatest talent is his ability to put people at ease when they’re in front of the camera so that the pictures come out looking relaxed and natural.
